EXHIBITION

The exhibition “Joy, Sorrow, and Hope”, featuring the works of 25 Bulgarian children's book illustrators, is arriving in Nesebar.
Its official opening will take place on October 16 at 5:30 PM in the foyer of the Artium Center for Culture and Education.

The exhibition presents original illustrations by contemporary Bulgarian artists working in the field of children's literature. The curators of the exhibition are the creative duo Anton Staykov and Svoboda Tsekova. The focus is on the artistic approach, narrative techniques, and the individual style of each author.

Among the featured names are:
Alya Markova, Antonia Mechkueva, Veselin Pramatarov, Vyara Boyadzhieva-Kasteleyn, Denitsa Mineva-Deland, Elitsa Sarbinova, Iva Sasheva, Ina Hristova, Kalina Mukhova, Katina Peeva, Kiril Zlatkov, Lilyana Dvoryanova, Lyuba Khaleva, Martin Stanev, Miglena Papazova, Mila Yaneva-Tabakova, Mira Miroslavova, Penko Gelev, Siyana Zakharieva, Sotir Gelev, Sofia Popyordanova, Stella Dreis, Yulian Tabakov, and Yasen Grigorov.

Each illustrator is represented by an excerpt from their work on a specific book, accompanied by a QR code linking to additional content on the website booksforkids.bg
