In connection with the fifth anniversary of the commissioning of Bulgaria’s first military research vessel, St. St. Cyril and Methodius, into the fleet of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy and the successful completion of four expeditions to Antarctica, the vessel will visit the town of Nesebar for the third time.
On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, at 2:00 p.m., the vessel will berth at the Nesebar Passenger Terminal. Later that day, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., an Open Day will be held aboard the ship, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the vessel’s mission, discover more about the Bulgarian Antarctic expeditions and hear fascinating stories from the captain and crew about the challenges of sailing to the White Continent.
